Motorola’s foldable RAZR is reportedly scheduled for Motorola’s foldable Razr is scheduled for November 13 launch. Ahead of this dates, several images of the much anticipated handset have been leaked along with some more specifications. The images available online shows that the smartphone is much like the original RAZR. The foldable phone will apparently allow the camera available on the handset to work as both selfie as well as regular camera. This means that the camera will work as a selfie cam when your phone is folded. But as soon as it’s unfolded, you can use the same camera to take regular shots.
According to leaked specifications, there will be an outer display (reportedly 600x800px) along with what appear to be a fingerprint sensor at the front. Once unfolded, the Motorola Razr becomes a smartphone with a 6.2inch OLED display. Talking about others specifications, reports suggest that it would feature a Snapdragon 710 processor along with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. There will also be an option of 6GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. However, something which is hard to believe is that these reports claim that the phone will have a modest 2,730 mAh battery. If this is true, it will be no match for Samsung Galaxy Fold which has 4,235 mAh battery. There are no reports on OS support. However, it is expected to sport the latest version of android.
Earlier, some reports claimed that RAZR foldable could be launched in summer 2019. However, the launch got delayed for some reasons. The summer launch was scheduled with the aim of competing with Huawei and Samsung. While the launch of Huawei’s Mate X got postponed, the Samsung Galaxy Fold smartphone fell just short of making it to market because the review units developed serious hardware problems. Motorola probably saw the wisdom in not rushing to market. But it is just a matter of few days when you will have this much anticipated handset in your hands.
